Such a great asset to the town. Absolutely great food! Waiters were very attentive. We were booked in on opening night and this was well worth the wait.

Table wasn’t ready when booked and had to wait 20 mins then asked 3 times for table water and had to keep asking for drinks order and food, didn’t eat until 1hr 25 mins after arrival! Flippant comments from staff as well when asked if they had an allergy menu

We had a great time and the food was delicious. Victoria, our waitress was outstanding in every way!

We took my frail 89 year old mother and 91 year old dad for her birthday. Staff were amazing. Couldn’t do enough to help. Food excellent. Service excellent

We had the special offer Thursday Tomahawk steak menu. Ordered medium but it came medium rare. Plenty of tender meat. Service was excellent - attentive but not too intrusive. Overall value for money very good.

Sorry but I was so looking forward to this first visit. How wrong could I be!!!! Absolutely SHOCKING!!! Service 🤬 waiting time 🤬attention to us 🤬 One hundred per cent wouldn’t go back even if you paid me to!!!

The staff and environment were very good. It would have been nice to have water on the table also the toast wasn’t “toasted” enough. Some slices were not brown on both sides.

We tried this again after a very chaotic first attempt - waiting for ages stood by the bar, then lots of drink choices weren’t available. The staff did their best and very very helpful, but it was chaos. Food was ok, except the prawns were salty as to be pretty inedible. Did mention this to a server but nothing happened , then wrong drinks arrived , and wine choices unavailable. Second time was less of a mess and it’s saving grace is the steaks are very good. Second time was 2 for 1 Tuesday , but this wasn’t explained properly and the menu is super confusing. We could hear other tables complaining that they hadn’t understood what they could and couldn’t have. I hope they get over all the teething problems/ staff lovely and helpful, but a lot could be much better and it did very expensive!

Visited this restaurant for the first time today. We arrived early, for which we were thanked. Taken to our table. Ordered drinks, which came fairly quickly, and then ordered food. We waited, and waited and waited. It took one hour and ten minutes, from when we arrived at the restaurant, for our meals to get to the table. Unfortunately we then had to ask for another portion of chips as one was missing. We were offered a round of drinks for the inconvenience but we would have preferred to not have had the wait. Sadly, what could have been a nice evening out was spoilt by the poor waiting time. Very disappointed!

First time being there and was very impressed, food was delicious, customer service superb! Restaurant is very nice too! Defiantly go back and recommend to friends and family

We arrived and after waiting for 20 minutes were escorted to a table on the second floor. There we waited for service but didn’t get any. We left at 8:45 after being there an hour. It was just awful. I would never go back and I have openly told others not to bother.

Sunday feasting platter cooked to perfection and service impeccable. Well done. We will definitely be back!

Nice, lazy, Sunday morning breakfast. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even moved us to a better table when it become available. Will be back for the steaks

It’s so good to have a nice quality restaurant in Dorking at last. The staff were all lovely and the restaurant has been revamped really well. A good simple menu, good food done well. Overall a great night out.

First time visit and was not disappointed, everything from the start to finish was wonderful . From our lovely waitress to our serving boy was great . Would definitely recommend to friends . Will be back x

It’s great to have a decent new restaurant in Dorking I understand there’s going to be teething problems but we got the wrong order. We didn’t want to wait another 25 mins so we accepted the food. The blue cheese sauce was very bland as was my husband’s pepper sauce. They definitely need zhuzhing up Roasted veg were so-so Meat was lovely as were the chips So a good night but a tad disappointed We will come back another time when everyone’s settled in and see if there’s any improvements Ps one more thing….signs on the loos v confusing! And what’s with the Asian looking wallpaper in the ladies loo? I thought it was a Mediterranean restaurant?

Service is just ‘new’. Still feels like everyone is finding their feet. Arrived at 8pm. We were not offered a drink in the first 20 minutes. We didn’t eat our main until 9.20. (We did have a starter). Food was amazing though. Steak was brill!!!

This was our first visit to Heavens Kitchen in Dorking and I have to say we were very impressed with the food and the service. We were well looked after and will be returning very soon! Additionally I would like to say that the decor in the restaurant is lovely, bringing it up to date without losing any of the charm of an old building.

We loved it! The atmosphere was great, the staff were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The furnishings/decor of the restaurant is beautiful. Well done, great job, we will be back! We are spreading the word :)

Service a bit haphazard to start but improved greatly. Could not fault the food. No disabled facilities, no disabled toilets, toilets on first floor no access for wheelchair users.

Lovely food, staff were pleasant but could have been a bit more attentive with service. Will be looking forward to coming back with friends

We had to wait about an hour and a half for a main course but it was there first week of opening so we where happy to wait

Front of house not friendly,waiting times terrible, i felt like i was dining with the tables either side of me ,my table that i was shown to which was for 2 people only had one chair

Booked and arrived at 9am but the kitchen and front of house wasn’t ready to accept guests as last night was busy in the restaurant . As a result we were turned away and advised to return at 1030 . Will think twice before returning , very disappointing

Day five of their opening - overall a very good start. We were kept well informed by the staff, we have the table we needed and we had the relaxing Sunday we needed too.

Friendly reception; steak was super. Nice wine list. But terribly slow service. However, it’s newly opened so live and let live …. Won’t put me off going again !!

White wine was not cold enough. Music too loud. Staff not adequately trained. Food was good but over priced.

We had some initial teething problems meaning we had to wait a while for our table but this was dealt with politely and our wait was improved with a complimentary drink. Our waitress was lovely, patient and knowledgeable and the food was spot on! We will be back

Food was excellent- a bit of a wait between courses, but it’s a new restaurant so they need to get into the rhythm

It was OK. Food was really nice but, staff not trained and we had to ask twice about drinks and sides which they’d forgotten. When the bill came they’d left the drinks off so had to redo the bill. There was also works going on upstairs which was a little distracting. Great food but, not sure we’ll be going back in a hurry.

Very nice experience last night on the opening night - it was very busy but the staff stayed calm and friendly Steaks were pretty good to Will definitely go back again
